Within a short distance of the cottages you'll find world famous literary, food and music festivals, stunning hillwalking and mountain biking in the Galloway Hills and Galloway Forest Park and some of the best scenery and wildlife in Scotland.
Cream o’ Galloway Visitor Centre is the home of luxurious dairy Cream o' Galloway Ice Cream, made with organic milk from their award winning cow with calf dairy farm.
A day full of fun for all the family with children's and adults chocolate making workshops, indoor and outdoor play areas and cafe; The Cocoabean Company, known locally as 'The Chocolate Factory', is the perfect day out whatever the weather.
The cottages are a short drive away from two of the world class 7 Stanes mountain bike trails at Kirroughree (15mins) and Glentrool (20mins).
